Letter to the District
Friends,
Some people say it's time for a change in politics. I say it's time for politics to change—starting right here in Indiana's Fifth Congressional District.
I've spent my career building successful tech companies. I founded and sold my first business as a college student at Indiana University. What I learned back then is still true today: We have to work together if we want to create new things and solve big problems.
In the tech world, when something is broken, we don't sit around and point fingers. We jump in, find the bugs and fix them. Collaboration leads to success. That's why I'm running for Congress. Politics is broken, but no one in Washington wants to find common ground, figure out real solutions and deliver them back here to Indiana.
If elected, I will use my experience as an entrepreneur to focus on policies that will support the creation of more high-paying jobs to the Fifth District, especially in the areas hardest hit by the economic downturn during the pandemic.
We all have to balance our budgets at home, and I believe America as a nation can live within its means with a balanced budget in Washington without short-changing hard-working Hoosiers.
And, it is crucial we ensure Americans have the freedom to live without the government interfering in their lives and personal decisions. I want my daughter to grow up in a country where her reproductive rights are safeguarded and all Americans are protected from discrimination.
Our country is facing many challenges, but unfortunately our leaders are more interested in scoring political points than offering serious solutions.
If you're sick of politics and politicians, I hear you. I'm not looking for a career. I'm looking to get things done for our state.
Working together, we can ensure America remains a land of opportunity for all.
